Heavy D & The Boyz was a hip-hop group led by Heavy D that rose to fame in the 1990s. One of the group members died in 1990 after a state accident. The group has had many hit singles in their career, some of which include "Now That We Found Love," "Big Daddy," and "Got Me Waiting." Heavy D is set to release a solo album in 2007.
